Using clay, sand, bone-like branches, fish skin, sisal, textiles, and kilometers of embroidery thread, Eva Spierenburg creates a temporary universe at 38CC. The artist transforms the exhibition space into a landscape-as-body, built from drawings and installations inspired by her stay in Iceland. The exhibition questions the boundary between our body and the Earth, building on the notion that as mortal beings we are interwoven in the greater body of the eternal universe. 

Driessen is the initiator and curator of this solo exhibition with Spierenburg.
